Things to know before you visit

Furry Friends are Welcomed

Pets are permitted in the Tiny Homes. When outside they must be on a leash at all times.

Note: Pets may not be left unattended in the Tiny Homes. Need a kennel? We can recommend a local boarding kennel just a few minutes down the road - just ask us for details!

Firewood On-site

No camping experience is complete without the sounds of a crackling fire, especially cozy when lakeside!

1 bundle - $5

fire-starters - $1 each

Breath-taking Sunrises

With the tinies facing the lake towards the east, you get to wake up early to the best view of the sunrise. We aren't kidding. As much as you want to stay in bed all morning, you won't want to miss these!

Home of the darkest skies in Nova Scotia

Did you know that Nova Scotia has some of the darkest skies and brightest stars in North America?

The Acadian Skies region is located in southwestern Nova Scotia and is the first destination in North America to receive a Starlight Reserve and Destination designation by the Starlight foundation (and one of only four places in the world!)

Winter Skating on the Lake

As much as we love the summer months, there's something special about having access to a frozen lake in the winter where we can skate. The Tiny Village is situated in a small cove, making it likely for the lake to freeze. You'll see our son out there taking advantage! Bring your skates just in case and ask us where it's safe to skate before venturing out.

*weather permitting
